Global In-house Center (GIC) Value Diagnostic Survey – 2012

Introduction

Everest Group

Everest Group is conducting a survey to understand the value beyond cost arbitrage delivered by GICs (formerly referred to as captives) and parent organizations' perception of the value received. The survey will also help understand the evolution of GICs based on a similar survey conducted in 2007. Download the summary of findings from the previous survey.

This survey will address the following questions:

  • Are "parent" and "GIC" executives aligned in how they are looking to drive value beyond cost savings?
  • What are the differences in perception of value delivered?
  • What are the different types of "value" being delivered?
  • What capabilities are required?
  • How do these vary by size of GIC footprint and geographic distribution?

The survey requires 10-12 minutes to complete. All participants will receive a summary of the findings from the survey.

Please note: All personal information will be kept confidential.

Interested in a custom benchmark of the survey for your organization? If so, please contact us before starting the survey to request an organization-specific link for your organization. In order to qualify for the customized benchmark assessment, at least five respondents from the GIC and five from the parent organization must complete the survey (a total of at least 10). In addition to the organization-specific link, our team can either email your intended participants directly or provide an email template that you can use to recruit participants from your organization. Please contact us to arrange what best meets your situation.
